| Below you will find images of the steps we
took to create a safe, fun and totally excellent 'gas log' (spectrum analzyer). The Speaker is mounted in one end of the tube, while the gas comes in from the other. Light the holes on the top of the tube and start up the music. When the speaker moves, this causes the air pressure in the tube to change which, in turn, causes the flames on top to 'bounce' up and down with the beat of the music. Technically, this is just a Rubens' Tube with extremely poor gemonetry. |
